Today is the 6 month Anniversary of Hurricane Ian

These pictures were taken by the owners know as the “Storm Troopers” who stayed for the storm and others who were first responders. This collection was curated by Scott Kitkowski who has been working tirelessly since the morning after the storm, when his wife Rainey, drove him as far as she could, to the south end of the Island near Doc’s Boathouse. He ran 10 miles to the condo, worked all day, and ran 10 miles back to the car. The same thing happened the next three days, until they were able to drive onto the Island. We are eternally grateful to the Kitkowski’s and all of the many others who took part in restoring our Island Paradise to the place we have been able to return to today.
